Jewellery & sculptural works by Sian Edwards
- ‘Inaugural Recipient of the Studio 20/17 Graduate Award’

Opening Sat 20th March - 4 - 6pm

Sian's forms are constructed from carefully selected remnants from material culture. Each material references a particular fragment of the bird; Glomesh for the scaly skin of their feet, polished graphite for the beak and claws. Each pair is a material rendering of a specific bird species. Their construction is undertaken with as close attention to anatomy as their materiality allows.
