In every moment of its evolution, wine has induced interest and participation, becoming the stuff of legend, myths, anecdotes, and subject of cultural and critical debate, liberating the imagination, artistic impulses, and inspiration, for better or for worse.

Wine has an infinity of lives, diversified properties, and unlimited bonds with the territories it comes from. It comes in innumerable variations, unending tones and shades of flavour, form and appearence.

Over the last ten years and more, Torre Fornello has  built up a collection of contemporary art. Enrico Sgorbati's "Vigna delle Arti" (Arts vineyard) is a welcoming setting then, for an exhibition of artistic jewellery inspired by the history and nature of this territory. "An infinity of lives, tones and shades" is as true for jewellery as it is for wine, so inviting Stefano Pedonesi to exhibit the Gioiello Modulare (a modular necklace) created by Stefano and a number of colleagues, and extending the invitation to any artists who are sensitive to the proposed themes,  was a natural emblematic step.
