Asymmetric-Organic Wrist Scupture, 8

Having worked with metals as a sculptor and fibers as a weaver, I see the endless possibilities in combining these approaches to create mini-sculptures to be worn. This perspective is important to my artistic statement.

I've been creating a new design series that I call "Asymmetric Organic Wrist Sculptures". The concept has been evolving in my thoughts slowly over time and I'm excited to finally be making these.

In the one-of-a-kind wrap shown here, I've used heavy 16 gauge (.051) and 14 gauge (.064) wires for strong shape integrity. The metal is Argentium sterling (925 sterling), which has a small germanium content that inhibits tarnish. This bangle opens with a hook and loop.
