Hi Angela

"Kit and Caboodle" is an expression that means the whole tool kit and the whole group of people.
For me it sticks because of a childhood when I was called Kitty (Cathy), and my brother (Brian) was Boo Boo and we were Kit and Caboodle. When I was looking to register the website blog, I was lucky that it was available, so it just has sort of stuck. Sometimes I like it as a name and sometimes I dont, but it fits this context I feel, jewellery seems to involve lots of tools and lots of people in different ways.

I will check out flickr, I use it for the blog and it is probably a widget that can be put into your page. I will have a look over the next few days.
We have just started a facebook page and you should be able to link your slide show from here onto your own facebook page or send it to friends, look at the badges link at the bottom of the page.

There is a lot to do, but I will look at that soon and get back to you. It is great to have you join up.

Cheers

Cathy

Hi Angela

Its great to have you join up. You are our first member from France! I will add tabs for France soon - more French members would be welcome on kit and caboodle, so if you would like to send out some invites or perhaps start a French group that would be great too. I will add a translator tool as soon as I can find one that I think really works.

There is lots of stuff you can do on kit and caboodle - put images, news and events up, ask/answer stuff in the forums, join a group, chat and yes, you can even pimp your page. Its easy to move elements around and to change the format, take a look in the settings.

Just remember kit and caboodle is a public network, its aim is promotional, so be sure to only put up personal details that you are comfortable with. There are privacy and email options in the settings.

Kit and caboodle is an ideal place to put up posts about exhibitions or any current news that you have. There is a lot of interest in the network, both locally and overseas. It would be great if you posted regularly in the blog, you can choose to have blog posts on your page and/or on the front page. Add some images and links too.

Anytime you have a problem, or cant work something out, let me know.
Cheers
Cathy
