I am an independent artist jeweller based in Stellenbosch, just outside Cape Town, South Africa.

My elaborate, time-consuming work processes reveal my obsessiveness, patience, diligence and personality. As a result, my works are strongly auto-biographical - presenting a snapshof of myself at a very specific time of my life. Also, my pieces implicitly undermine and question notions of instant gratification and mass production. The notion of time invested and the often imperceptible value inscribed by it is of special significance in my work.

All of my pieces are exclusive and manufactured by hand. They exist only once and I will never re-produce them. Besides expressing the wearer's sense of personal uniqueness, my pieces certainly make a statement.

Each piece comes with an optional wooden showcase, enabling the owner to display the work of art on a home or office wall when the piece is not worn.
