I am a Melbourne based jeweller who draws much inspiration from the fine arts of Japan and nature of the Mornington Peninsula. I prefer simple designs and work mainly with silver, pearls and acrylic. I studied at Monash University, and now have a studio at the rear of In.cube8r Gallery in Smith St, Fitzroy.
"been to space lately" h aha ah ahah ha aah ahah a.... Id never seen it, but as soon as I read your words it dawned on me!! Oh and no ive not been to space... but youre right it does look like I might have been... Im quite sure that in their real scale theyre not so 'spacey' (things via the eyes and minds of others are always interesting)
Thats great youre working still.
There is lots of stuff you can do on kit and caboodle - put images, news and events up, ask/answer stuff in the forums, join a group and yes, you can even pimp your page. Its easy to move elements around and to change the format of your page.
Just remember kit and caboodle is a public network, its aim is promotional, so be sure to only put up personal details that you are comfortable with. There are privacy and email options in the settings. (Gazillions of kit and caboodle emails in your inbox driving you bonkers? Check out how to fix that in FAQ on the right.)
Kit and caboodle is an ideal place to put up posts about exhibitions or any current news that you have. There is a lot of interest in the network. It would be great if you posted regularly in the blog, you can choose to have blog posts on your page and/or on the front page. Add some images and links too.
Also dont forget to join our facebook page. Say hi to Sonya.
Most of all, there are lots of opportunities to network with other jewellers, outlets, galleries and to see what is happening in the world of contemporary jewellery. It should be fun. Anytime you have a problem, or cant work something out, let me know.
