Recently graduated from the Otago Polytechnic School of Art and about to embark on some things in the big bad real world! I am currently a part time emerging maker who will hopefully be full time in the not too distant future!
My style of work is still developing, but I get really into the process of making, which always drives and develops my pieces.
I work with Jewellery because I like the way it operates. It sits on the periphery of the body, and functions between people. When worn, a piece of jewellery offers an encounter and can create conversations which I always find fascinating.
"With this series I was interested in the notion of material identity as a response to (my) cultural identity. I am a Pakeha New Zealander, born and raised in rural Central Otago."
