My path into jewellery design began with a fascination with the body, and the various ways it has been used as a canvas.
Strangely enough, I think of myself as someone who doesn’t wear much jewellery. The twelve adornments that never leave my body have become such a fundamental part of me that I see them, not as accessories, but as inextricable parts of my identity.
My work has encompassed a diverse range of styles and approaches, from clean lines and planned methodologies to organic forms and experimental processes. I marvel at the natural imperfections in stone, the hidden contours of wood, the history of horn and bone and the adaptability of metal. The ability to create visual texture through the inherent qualities of these materials is a theme I look forward to further exploring in my practice.
