Crowned and Bound Fashion Collaboration

Click on this link and you will see the whole Crowned and Bound Fashion show. This was a collaboration between 2nd and 3rd year gold and silversmithing students at the ANU School of Art and a local boutique Department of the Exterior. Has really cool music, i like music.

rachel terry said… - Hi Kimberley "Music Cuff" was made with wrie nickle and brass tubing for the frame including large nickle jump rings attached to frame using brass tubbing, these jumps rings make a tapping noise externally on the frame.I used thin sheets of brass and nickle for internal spinning disks in various sizes that knock each when cuff is moved, i found the thinner the sheet used the better sound produced. I cut two disc's same size then used a small piece of tubing top and bottom of disc's to join them together giving a spinning axis and attachment point. The best sound was produced using the same disc's but domed shaped with a hole in the centre of each dome then strung together. The less attachments and soldering used the more pure the sound.

Its great to have you join up, and your images look great.
There is lots of stuff you can do on kit and caboodle - put images, news and events up, ask/answer stuff in the forums, join a group and yes, you can even pimp your page.
Just remember kit and caboodle is a public network, its aim is promotional, so be sure to only put up personal details that you are comfortable with. There are privacy and email options in the settings. (Gazillions of kit and caboodle emails in your inbox driving you bonkers? Check out how to fix that in FAQ on the right.)
Kit and caboodle is an ideal place to put up posts about exhibitions or any current news that you have. There is a lot of interest in the network. It would be great if you posted regularly in the blog, you can choose to have blog posts on your page and/or on the front page. Add some images and links too.

Most of all, there are lots of opportunities to network with other jewellers, outlets, galleries and to see what is happening in the world of contemporary jewellery. It should be fun. Anytime you have a problem, or cant work something out, let me know.
