About

I was born and raised in Western Massachusetts, received my B.A. in Sociology there from Smith College and now reside on the Caribbean island of St John.

I've been a production goldsmith for over a decade and also create my own work. So half of our living room is now my studio, with hammers and steel blocks sharing space with my beachcomber finds--fragments of shell and urchin, pods and seaworn wood. I am teaching my teenage son goldsmithing techniques--he's a natural.
