Pilar and Aldo are a happy couple that enjoy making and creating jewelry objects inspired in music, books, battles that can not be found in the maps but mainly in the gifts of the wind
Pilar works in Special Education and she studied Silver Crochet with the sculpture artist Juan Pacheco at Escultorica in her hometown Lima - Peru (www.escultorica.com). In Canada, she took the Beginner Jewelry with Tosca Teran at Nanopod Hybrid Studio (www.nanopod.tv), Also she took some courses of Flaming glass. Her inspiration is based in the cosmos, the earth and the sea...
Aldo is a Electronic Engineer and also jeweller graduated from the Instituto Peruano de Joyeria y Arte - Escuela de Joyeria (www.iperjoy.com) in his hometown Lima - Peru. He also participated as an artist in the Patronato de Plata del Peru contest in 2006 (www.patronatoplatadelperu.org/) . In Canada Aldo took courses of Flaming and Fused glass and participated in the Open Studio in Tosca Teran's Nanopod Hybrid Studio.
Both believe in that there are simple things around us that makes us happy and those things are the gift of the wind like the dance of the leaves, the laughs of the children playing and the smell of a fresh baked bread...
There is lots of stuff you can do on kit and caboodle - put images, news and events up, ask/answer stuff in the forums, join a group, chat and yes, you can even pimp your page. Its easy to move elements around and to change the format, take a look in the settings.
Just remember kit and caboodle is a public network, its aim is promotional, so be sure to only put up personal details that you are comfortable with. There are privacy and email options in the settings.
Kit and caboodle is an ideal place to put up posts about exhibitions or any current news that you have. There is a lot of interest in the network, both locally and overseas. It would be great if you posted regularly in the blog, you can choose to have blog posts on your page and/or on the front page. Add some images and links too.
Anytime you have a problem, or cant work something out, let me know.
