- I'm a fine arts student at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Melbourne, Australia. I've currently finished my third year in the Gold and Silversmithing course and will be completing my final year in 2011. Previous studies include one year of Applied Design at Northern Melbourne Institute of Tafe (NMIT) in 2005, and I completed the Product Design and Jewellery course at NMIT from 2006 to 2007. I love using plastic in my work, whether its found and discarded materials and objects or mass produced objects like straws. Colour is vital in a lot of my work. Colour is energy. I imagine that my work can either give out or take in energy. I also imagine that my work can be in a context of sound and music, which is another means of energy.

Let's try to keep in touch from now on. I'm home early December, only 16 weeks or so...not that I'm counting (insert shifty, homesick eyes here). Cath is coming for a visit next week and Claire was here recently - such fun! I wish you could all come over. It's weird being in two worlds at once. I sort of feel like I belong in both places and neither at the same time...L I M B O .

Those pictures of me are awful - but Inari's necklace looks fantastic :) I was so proud to see your work there - congratulations!! My darling friends Benedikt and Stefan wanted your pieces (I suggested maybe you and Bene could do a swap and he was into the idea - what do you think? He's amazing, just won the Marzee Prize and is in shows all over the place). So we'll have to get you two in touch with each other.
I'll write a longer letter later, have to run to work now.
I miss you so much, Cous. Come and visit me!!!!
