I am a mixed media jewellery artist and my main focus is on the new metal clays (silver, gold, bronze, copper and steel) and found objects. I also use a variety of enamelling techniques, glass fusing, etching, polymer clay sculpting, kumihimo braiding and bead working in my jewellery.
I have been making jewellery since the 1970s but I gave up my day job (high school teacher) 5 years ago to play with materials. I am a certified PMC Senior Teacher (currently one of 4 in Australia) and I have enrolled in the Internation Masters Registry Program.
My focus is on education and I am lucky enough to travel to teach various jewellery making techniques. I teach at Art Time Supplies in Ipswich Qld and Eclectic Studio in Sydney. I have had projects published in Australian Beading Magazines and won various awards at the Bead and Gem shows.

I remember very well thank you. I even remember where in the cabinet your piece was! Strangely enough! This is such a great forum for catching up with everyone and meeting new people..I don't know why I didn't join earlier! Time constraints always seem to be the excuse! Good to reconnect with you! I didn't realize you were in Ipswich. Both my sisters live in Ipswich! Small world!
Good to see you joined up. I am sure you will know a few jewellers on here already, and you are welcome to send out invites to other interested jewellers. I will send you a longer comment soon, just wanted to say Hi for now.
