Hey Nadine, I love the quirky zaniness to your work, especially all these bots working our bodily systems... Seriously amusing, or amusingly serious... Cheers, Phill.
Hi, I will have to look up the dates of the fringe fest as I'd really like to get down for that show, someone told me it is in a bus???I've got a good wee space in my garage although would be good to have a few more tools... going to take part in a new broach of the month club kicking off at masterworks in march and always on the look out for somewhere a bit different to exhibit work. It would be good to try and keep a bit of regular communication between the ak's and welly jewellers, yet another blog perhaps...?hmm sharon fitness, raewyn walsh and kristin D all have great blogs we should all try and connect up and keep tabs on eachother's work...
hey hows it going, saw some of your work online at the gallery of oddities, seems like a very cool place to exhibit work, what are ur plans for 2010? do u share a studio with some of the other jewellers in wellington? hoping to get down there soon would love to meet with some fellow jewellers down there!
hey chick. went to your show opening last nite at daf106 and met Don (u shld put a thing on here if not too late by time ur back) but totally understand why you weren't there. giz a bell when ur back from aussie. btw - nice slideshow and great re website (least it's live!)!!
I'd really like to do Hand Stand but feel I need to take my time with my next body of work as I feel it is going to be quite challenging! If I can I will just stick to do bigger one off pieces as I really enjoyed what I did last year. Keep in touch with what you are up to, I'm always interested in collaborations and would love to get a bunch of jewellers together outside the exhibition/studio environment to brainstorm, network and generally just have fun! Best of luck x
