Hi Natalia,
I see this is an old post and you may have already found tools you are after.... but a great site for cheap tools is http://www.findingking.com. Even with the postage everything works out much cheaper!
I recently also just caved and for…
My main interest lays in amulets, talismans, fetishes and votive objects etc. I'm interested in the animist notion that a spirit can inhabit an inanimate object and the potency we project onto certain personal objects. I research the history and cultural diversity of "charged" objects and search for their meaning and place in contemporary culture.
Hi Natalie
Sorry for not answering earlier, my computer has been acting stooopid over the past few days.
I think we can do that. I will have a play around over the next few days for the best format, and get back to you. Should be pretty straightforward.
I bought stacks of 2nd hand equipment a couple of years ago in Perth from an add selling a jewellers bench for $50. Turned out the advertiser had a shed full of jewellery equipment from his dad - a wholesale jewellery manufacturer in the 80's and was just looking for some easy cash/clear out of the shed. Keep an eye on the trading post newspaper and call up any jewellery related adds just in case there is another shed full. And it doesnt hurt to look at the auction pages too.
Thanks for making me your friend. I'm posting some photos of my studio at the moment. It takes time building extraction units and big tools like draw benches, one of the problems with our fast passed lives. I love your designs they are very cute and playfull. I'm coming over to Melbourne for the Organic/Green Expo in late July come see me in the Green section if you go.
Hi Natalia
I find your work really interesting, it has an intangible appeal - always a good thing.
I missed your exhibition, The Good Ship Glitzern. Where was that on? send me the link and I will do a post anyway, just for those of us who couldnt see it. I hope it all went well.
cheers

Hi Natalia
It was great to meet you too. I have admired your work from afar for some time - it is lovely to be able to put the maker to the pieces!

There is lots of stuff you can do on kit and caboodle - put images, news and events up, ask/answer stuff in the forums, join a group, chat and yes, you can even pimp your page. Its easy to move elements around and to change the format, take a look in the settings.
Just remember kit and caboodle is a public network, its aim is promotional, so be sure to only put up personal details that you are comfortable with. There are privacy and email options in the settings.
Kit and caboodle is an ideal place to put up posts about exhibitions or any current news that you have. There is a lot of interest in the network, both locally and overseas. It would be great if you posted regularly in the blog, you can choose to have blog posts on your page and/or on the front page. Add some images and links too.
Anytime you have a problem, or cant work something out, let me know.
Cheers
