Recipients of the 2011 Jewellery and Small Objects Industry Awards Announced

 

Last night the recipients of the QCA 2011 Jewellery and Small Objects Industry Awards were announced.  Leading contemporary jeweller Barbara Heath embraced the  difficult task of selecting the recipients for 10 of the awards.  

The recipients for the eMVee Awards were decided be Maria and Vanessa from eMVee and the Design Institute of Australia Award was decided by DIA supplied criteria.…

Whilst writing an article on the Wonderful History of jewellery it occured to me that the joy of owning an artisan piece is that it is unique; all jewellery is handmade and crafted by using techniques developed over centuries.
