New Year, New Project

Happy New Year!

Last year started well for me, jewellery making wise. I'd just graduated from CIT and had some invitations to participate in various shows. Things were looking bright, then real life stepped in with a host of outside demands and I found myself unable to do any work for much of the year.

To remedy this, I've set myself a huge New Year challenge: to make a piece every day this year, and to photograph them and keep a blog as I go. Crazy? Probably.  I've never been one to do things by halves.

I've called my project 366 in 2012 - A Jewellery Challenge.

The very first post explains the challenge and lays down the ground rules.
After that it should all be progress updates with images. So far so good. We'll see how it goes....

 I'll keep popping into your blog to see how you go. Just imagine where this adventure could take you in your designs. You should read the "artist way" by julia Cameron. She mentions that to push forward creatively we should just turn up to the bench, the canvas, the page on a daily bases. By doing what your doing the world could be your oyster!
