I see and scan every piece that is made in the studio, on some occasions I just have to do work-in-progress shots. With this brooch/pendant, the wax to cast silver and then oxidisation and pin back - I scanned the piece before the buttons were set in place (just cause I could), so much of the beauty is hidden, I believe. Barbara on the other hand only wants the final piece to be shown.

The Lace work has been a © Bh range and commission line for 9 years now (since the Studio Ingot "chromophobia" show), we have collected the antique buttons for ages - sometimes it's hard to let them go as they too are becoming finite. Click here for the viewersite blog
