The Exchange Project is a collaborative effort between students from the Sydney College of the Arts: Jewellery + Object Design course and the Whitireia Community Polytechnic: Bachelor of Applied Art Jewellery students in New Zealand.

Students from each course were asked to select one material and construct a piece of writing and swap them with one of their counterparts across the Tasman Sea to inspire them to create one, or a small series of, jewellery works as a direct response to the both the writing and the material.
The results of this lively and inspiring exchange will be exhibited at Studio 20/17 from the 6th July- 18th July 2010, with celebration drinks on Saturday 10 July from 4-6pm
You can follow the progress of the project in the lead up to the exhibition on The Exchange Project blog: http://scawhitireia.wordpress.com/
